Scope of Operations and Maintenance Services

KS Energy Africa provided operations and maintenance services to support the reliable and efficient operation of the Sokoto power plant. The scope included routine plant operation, preventive maintenance of generating equipment, and corrective maintenance activities required to ensure continuous plant availability and performance.

Routine Operation and Maintenance

KS Energy was responsible for the day-to-day operation and routine maintenance of the power plant. Operational activities included plant monitoring, control of generating units, and coordination of maintenance to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Planned Maintenance

The scope included planning and executing scheduled preventive maintenance activities for the generating units and associated auxiliary equipment. Planned maintenance activities were performed in accordance with established maintenance schedules and manufacturer recommendations to ensure optimal equipment performance and reliability.

Unplanned Maintenance

KS Energy also carried out unplanned and corrective maintenance activities required to address equipment faults or operational issues. These activities included troubleshooting, repair, and restoration of plant equipment to maintain operational continuity and minimize downtime.
