About Company
KS Energy (Mauritius) Limited “KSE” is a Mauritius registered company and wholly owned subsidiary of KS Energy (Africa) S.a.r.l.
KSE has operating subsidiaries in Botswana, Nigeria, South Africa & Tanzania specializing in project development, installation & commissioning; operation and maintenance of small to medium power plants and associated infrastructure primarily focused in Africa.
KSE’s founders, TUTEN group from Turkey, have been active in power project development for over 30 years. Following the establishment of KSE, the group used Botswana as its operational and administrative headquarters to grow its business in other African energy markets. KSE and its sister companies have been engaged in power project development, project and construction management, and operation and maintenance of power plants in several Sub-Saharan countries, as well as in Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
KSE has a multinational team of experts manning its power plants with demonstrated plant availability on the entire fleet of over 98.5% to-date. KSE offers full third-party O&M services throughout Africa.
KSE’s in-house capability includes the full planned and unplanned maintenance of the GE LM and TM (trailer mounted) series gas turbines, including full hot section exchange, engine exchange capabilities, annual and semi-annual inspection capabilities and pride ourselves in the fact that GE(General Electric) see us as one of their key O&M regional partners. KSE with its exclusive affiliate and manpower partner (Pro-per Energy) inhouse experienced aero-derivative gas turbine specialist with over a decade of experience in I&C, O&M, and inhouse-training/skills transfer capabilities of plant capacity up to 600MW. KSE over the years have developed more experience managing construction of this type of gas turbine-based power stations in Africa than any other 3rd party service provider.
KSE is active in tenders in Botswana, South Africa, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia, Senegal, Malawi, Kenya, Tanzania and Nigeria and as an IPP for distributive (up to 250MW) projects that use creative fuel solutions such as coal-bed methane, LPG, LNG, Green Hydrogen, syngas, etc
